UC Bearcats

Football:
The Bearcats return 16 starters from a year ago, all 11 on defense, and gain one of the best JUCO prospects in the nation with WR Kenbrell Thompkins on the field. The Bearcats look to forget their terrible 2010 season and challenge for another Big East title. They kick off the 2011 season at Nippert vs Austin Peay on Saturday September 3rd and 7:00. Longer Preview to come later.

Football Recruiting:

The Bearcats just picked up their biggest recruit in the 2012 class, 4 star dual threat quarterback Bennie Coney from Plant City, Flordia. Coney chose the Bearcats over many top tier BCS Schools, this is the first big recruiting battle that the Bearcats have won for this year recruiting class and hopefully first of many. Here are some of the schools that Coney chose the Bearcats over: Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Michigan St, Boston College, Louisville and others. This is already starting to look like the best recruiting class in program history.
